How to Prevent Fire In The Kitchen

Fire Safety In Kitchen
• Avoid leaving the kitchen while cooking.
• Always alert and check regularly the food that being cooked.
• Avoid cooking if sleepy, dizzy or after taking medications that can cause drowsiness.

Cleanliness In The Kitchen

• Keep pot holders, food wrappers, recipe books and flammable materials near or above room cooking.
• Make sure the kitchen shelves are clean. Dirt from the oily ingredients may be caught by fire.
• Avoid any flammable materials such as curtains or towels near the stove.

Prevent fires

• Food cooked in a "microwave" produce high levels of heat. Open the cover carefully.
• Be careful when using wet gloves because water can turn to steam and can cause burns to your hands.

Electrical Circuit Box In Kitchen Safety
• Use one type of equipment for a socket at one time.
• Make sure there are fuses and circuit breakers to stop any excess electrical current.
• Make sure the fuse resistance is the same as required for an electrical appliance.
• Wires that are damaged should be replaced.
• If the appliance is too hot, immediately disconnect the plug. Replace or send the equipment for inspection.

• Turn off the fire source.
• Cover the surface with a cloth.
• Let the wok or pan to cool.
• Open the cover slowly.
