When we dealing with electrical work, as a worker we should practice safety to avoid hazards that relate with electrical work such as electrical shock in case if anything accident have a chance to happen. It usually happened when worker making mistakes while dealing with electric sources and it may result in personal injury or injuring someone else that nearby. Below are the some things I shared that we should know as a worker and we must practice them to make sure our safety in workplace:

• Shut down the power to the circuit

- it means if anything incident that happened or possibility of accident to occur, we must shut down the main electrical supplier in case to avoid explosion or other unwanted incident happen.

• Wearing any safety clothes or PPE

- when handle the electrical work we must wear any clothes or PPE that was provided by the company to avoid any electric shock that may be directly contact to workers body. For simple example that workers must wear and practice while doing work with electric is wearing safety gloves because our hands more high risk to exposed to electric shock.

• Using the proper electrical tools

- when doing electrical work, we must use the tools with insulated handles. It because anything that we heard about electrical tools, it was including iron. Iron can help the process of electrical conduction. For example tools is pliers that was covers with insulated material, its was designed as a safety design for workers use.

• Keep yourself dry

- while dealing with electrical task, we must make sure that our clothes was dry. If using the wet clothes, we can make the conduction process became easy exposed to us.

• Do not wear any jewelry

- The most important things that we should do especially to women in workplace is take off all of your jewelry. For women maybe it was a personal equipment that they wear everyday but NOT in workplace that more dealing with electrical task because it was easily to make workers get electrocuted due to this problem.

• Wear safety glasses

- Wearing safety glasses in electrical work was a brilliant way to prevent anything that we doesn’t want occur. It can make workers became having eye problem.
