Housekeeping

Many of us can see a specific work area and know clearly how workers behave towards safety in the area. Housekeeping always has a story. The workers or their employer who earnestly for the safety, keep their work area clean and well maintained because they understand that this is a proven way to prevent accidents.

Good Housekeeping provides many benefits including the reduction of accidents, better work efficiency, increased employee morale, and lower fire risk as a result of landfill waste. With all these benefits, you would think that everyone should make a good home care a priority in their routine work. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.

Often we catch up in our efforts to be completed while the work and efforts to maintain the cleanliness is not unthinkable. This is mainly because we do not consider home care as part of the work.

Housekeeping is part of the job and is just as important as the work itself. In every work environment it is everyone's responsibility to ensure that the housekeeping was held, but the supervisor must take final responsibility. A supervisor who does not play an active role to ensure a clean work area, he does not do its work. It is also the responsibility of supervisors to motivate others to make an effort to maintain a clean work area.

The general idea can be applied to use goods and other junk associated with the job but how about a personal care home? It is as dangerous for someone who is throwing boxes of food and bottles of water onto the floor instead of in the trash.

Junk or secondhand goods are not only related to the effort to maintain a clean work. Air hoses, tin-lead solder, broken cables and equipment other work can be a real nuisance for you and your co-worker friends.

Follow these guidelines to prevent injuries associated with housekeeping:

1. Develop the habit of work clean. Do not throw garbage around the workplace and do not expect others to clean it up. Enter into the space provided.

2. Do not let garbage pile up and the pieces of your workplace. Try to get dumped or stacked neatly to be disposed of properly. When stacking large objects, make sure that they do not happen to people.

3. Keep the pathway and alleys clean.

4. Place all tools, equipment, materials, cables, lead, etc. in a way so as to keep the driveway clean with a real nuisance potential which is always minimal.

The supervisor must ensure their sustainability efforts housekeeping work to maintain. Do not let an accident occurs because you or your coworkers do not do as you do.
