GOLFER ELBOW

Golfer elbow or also known as medial epicondyle is in some way are similar to tennis elbow but the patient will suffer a pain inside the elbow. Golfer elbow will affect the finger strength to grip and feeling the pain and inflammation on the inner side of the elbow. Sometime the pain can spread to your forearm and wrist. This can occur when overuse the wrist and fingers. The mechanisms of the golfer elbow to occur are commonly repetitive and overuse of the tendon and muscle. To treat golfer elbow is to get enough rest and put some ice on it this is to help reduce the pain and inflammation. After that, consult a therapist to get a therapy to recondition the strength of the muscle and tendon starting from stretching the muscle and do some light exercise and get enough rest. Reduce the repetitive motion of the inner side of the elbow can reduce the probability a person to get golfer elbow.
