Are You Sure the Pesticides That You Use is Safe...
Pesticide is a hazardous material that usually used in agricultural industrial or daily used at home or garden especially to kill insects on plants. Basically for housewives who love gardening in their garden. But, they don’t know about the effects that may be affecting them on their future. From the data of cases reported from the United State Environmental Protection Agency was making an analysis that ten to twenty thousand farmworkers are poisoned in a year due to their pesticide exposure and the statistic of cases also have been made that the average of farmworkers that is, 5.5 per one thousand workers in a year.
There are two terms that may affect them which is classified as short term and long term illness. Wherever the least amount of particle of pesticides that exposed, it also had a chances to give a bad impact on our long term effects or chronic health effects such as cancer, infertility, birth defects or neurological damage. It is because the particle that were inhaled by the workers was very small particles and its can goes into the last target organ in our body systems such as our bronchioles. The person or workers that we called as pesticide handlers may be exposed to pesticides due to many ways such as spills, splashes, direct spray and also other method. For example farmworkers, they are highly risk to expose to this toxic pesticides because they more dealing directly with this chemical. For the family of farmworkers that dealing with this chemical also have a chance to injured by this chemical when workers bring together the pesticides that spills on their hair, skin, or clothing to their home and trapped in there.
The workers that over exposure to toxic pesticides can be fatal or death. After the over exposure to them, they will result in common symptoms that including headaches, sweating, weakness, vomiting, blurred vision and loss of consciousness. For the symptom of long terms effect is they will kill the nerves in our body. As we know, pesticides was a very dangerous material that we cannot see their effects to us now but it will give the impact soon and this material also can effect to our environmental and natural habitat.

Bullying Part Time Workers
Many people especially teenagers and student finished their SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA and waiting for University intake like to find part-time job. As usual, they want money to shopping, experience and depends on each individual goal. It may be that you simply want to have a different work-life balance, or they have caring responsibilities.
Imagine that you can sleep only 4 hours after doing a heavy works. As we know, human at least need to sleep as much 7-5 to 9 hours per night to function their best. During sleep, the body has time not only to rest, but also to restore, recovery and rejuvenate. In fact, while a person sleeps, the body heals itself so once awake, the individual get feels refreshed, focused, and energetic. Good sleep is important because it helps improve concentration and memory formation and it allows our body to repair any cell damage that occurred during the day refreshes immune system and which in turn helps to prevent disease.
If you does not get enough sleep, your muscle gain are limited, your body become stale and not strong enough and troubling in antibody system. Lack of sleep also may caused heart problem and also high blood pressure.
For Telekom workers (promoters). Do you noticed that when you going to grab lunch with your friends and you will see a couple of man with orange t-shirt carrying file. Actually they start works at 11 am to 10 p.m. They cannot rest and must keep working and finding new customer.
In this case we can say they exposed to heat stress and may cause heat strain and because of over sweat and headache (hot fever). They keep walking and finding new customer for 9 hours. We all know that temperature at Malaysia is high when afternoon (12pm - 4.30pm).
So, as a conclusion, employer should consider when giving jobs to their employee. Employer also should consider size and physical person. If he or she have a skinny body, employer shall give more lighter work to them. Employer also should "berperikemanusian" so that the workers will not hate to their employer and can provide harmony environment in workplace and improve status at workplace.
Do job rotation system and do not ordered same people to work, communication between workers and employers should take care and do respect each other. Avoid from stress and do not bring personal problem in the workplace because that is one factor that can lead to stress.
Give adequate rest to promoter workers. Provide at least two mineral water and one set lunch to their workers so that they have energy in doing jobs. If weather to hot, employer shall give them more rest or provide umbrella to them. For ourselves, we must brave to report any problems to Human Resource Department.
And lastly, In section 15 OSHA 1994, it shall be duty of every employer to ensure, so far as is practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of all his employees.

Accident at work related to the machine
FIGURE 2
Recommendation:
Therefore, there are several ways to solve this problem by putting a "guard" on each machine that is no barrier to prevent this incident from recurring such as:
1.Barrier Covered
- It is a permanent barrier or barriers to prevent any member of the body from contact with moving machine components.
2. Interlocking Guards
- It is the best alternative when the guards would not be available. If the guard is opened, the power supply to the machine is broken
- Install log out tag out to all the machines should not be used freely and should not be used if the machine is locked. only those who have the key can turn on the machine
3.Automatic guard
- It is usually used in the repeated cycle of operations. The members of a protected operator body when moving machine components.
- If, one hand to operate the machine, the machine will not work.
- Shall be designed so that it does not need to be opened during machine repair or maintenance.
- Make sure that the space between the guard and the machine is minimal to prevent the operator from reaching the body to "danger point" (the enemy/danger).
- All controls turn on or turn off the machine must be within reach of the operator.
- Emergency push buttons must be easily accessible and clearly marked. To turn on the machine, do it manually every time.
- Inspection, review and preventive maintenance should always be done. Have a preventive maintenance program that includes inspections of all machine guarding.
Therefore, each employee must be alert and aware of the work that is done to avoid the occurrence of things that are not desired in the workplace. Therefore, employers and machine operators must play an important role in the workplace. Safety must come first and must remember what happened to safety first. Remember loved ones.
-HAVE A NICE DAY =)
